Job Title: Project Manager

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Job Objectives

  • Responsible for the delivery of the assigned Projects from Inception to Completion with full ownership of activities in Project Sites and controlled implementation of company’s approved PERT methodology for Project executions.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic:

  1. Lead the execution of tasks associated with the achievement of the business goals
  2. Strong focus on the economics and profitability of production or the services rendered
  3. Recommend for effective Project Management suitable standards and policies that will help to improve areas of expertise and the organization’s operations at large
  4. Ensures compliance to all laid down policies of the company identifying where amendments and provisions are needed for enhancements
  5. Employ and deploy projects within budget and deadlines
  6. Ensures all Tasks related to Specializations and Functions are duely, regularly and comprehensively completed

Qualifications and Experience

  1. B.Sc/HND in Electrical/Civil Engineering
  2. Minimum experience of 7 years experience
  3. Membership of a professional engineering body: COREN, NSE, IEE etc
  4. Experience should include planning, budgeting, executing, monitoring and cash flow management of complex projects
  5. Proficiency in an ERP Solutions and with competencies in Project Management, CAD and Microsoft Office Suite.

Job Title: Head, Business Development

Location: Rivers

Job Description

Job Objectives:

  • Responsible for the developing of the strategy that guides the organization in achieving ALL set Revenue Generating goals that aims at business growth and increasing market share
  • Coordinating an integrated commercial success of the company by the combination of an aggressive Marketing plan and deep commercial strategy that ensures increased profitability, improved brand image and effective consumer satisfaction for a sustainable growth of the company

Key Responsibilities

Strategic:

  1. Ownership of Business Development initiatives and achievement of set Revenue targets of the company
  2. Ownership of the customers/clients’ interface with the company’s services making sure that all functions of the organization are aligned to meet its strategic commercial objectives
  3. Develop with a customer centric approach mind set, polices and standards that are aimed at ensuring optimal utilization of the company/departmental resources for the overall achievement of the company’s set objectives; longterm and periodic
  4. With the COO, representing the company before Financial, Government and
  5. Technical Regulatory Forces, defending company’s objectives and decisions
  6. Provide industry trends, opportunities for expansion and projection of future company growth, not limited to local opportunities but with strong awareness of Global perspectives
  7. Ensure legal and regulatory compliance regarding all tenders and contractual commitments of the company

Skills Competencies and Requirements

General Requirements:

  1. Experience in strategic planning and execution
  2. Ability to analyze financial data
  3. Quality capacity in written and verbal communication and interpersonal relationships
  4. Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects
  5. Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings.

Qualification and Experience

  1. B.Sc/HND with MBA in Engineering and/or Marketing and/or Law
  2. Minimum of 10 years of Marketing or Sales experience with large project experience in Construction, Oil and Power Industries
  3. Must have reputable professional certification in related function and industry
  4. Proficiency in an ERP Solutions

Job Title: Tendering Manager

Location: Port Harcourt

Job Objectives

  • Responsible for floating Tenders and Bids for project executiion opportunities that will enhance company’s plan to achieve ravenue targets and grow market share

Key Responsibilities

Strategic:

  1. Coordinates ALL Project Planning and Design Activities and Functions under supervision
  2. Having strong focus on the economics and profitability of production or the services rendered by the entire department
  3. Responsible for deploying assigned and co – opted projects within agreed budget and deadlines
  4. Functional in the management of the end – to – end process of entire business unit
  5. Recommend polices and standards that are aimed at ensuring optimal utilization of the company/departmental resources for the overall achievement of the company’s set objectives; long-term and periodic.
  6. Ensure legal and regulatory compliance regarding all purchasing functions and commitments of the company

Qualifications and Experience

  1. B.Sc/HND with MBA in Engineering
  2. Minimum of 7 years with large project experience in Construction, Oil and Power Industries
  3. Demonstrated experience managing ambiguous and change management programs Ability to analyze financial data
  4. Demonstrated cross group collaboration and influencing skills Strong planning, organising and monitoring abilities
  5. Must be member of a professional engineering body: COREN, NSE, IEE etc.
  6. Proficiency in an ERP Solutions and with competencies in Project Management, CAD and Microsoft Office Suit
  7. Attention to detail, planning, organization, and daily delivery requirements

Functional Skills and Competencies:

  1. Advising on contractual matters and formulating correspondence.
  2. Analysis of drawings, technical reports and bills of quantities.
  3. The ability to collect and use data for selection of contractors, subcontractors and suppliers.
  4. Able to use appropriate techniques for recording and documentation of information including registration of interest, preparation of bills of quantities and analysis of tenders
  5. To be able to demonstrate knowledge and usage of civil law in the context of construction.
  6. Knowledge of construction and contract law
  7. Sound working knowledge of the various forms of conditions of contract used for civil engineering projects.
  8. Understand the provisions of the standard forms of contract and subcontract commonly in use in the Engineering industry i. Understanding of disputes resolution.

Job Title: Head, Engineering Designs

Location: Rivers

Job Objective

  • Responsible for the selection,application and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures and standards through the preparation or modification of drawings, specifications, calculations, charts and graphs of selected projects toward their excellent and successful execution.

Job Title: Head, Marketing and Public Relation

Key Responsibilities

Strategic:

  3. Recommend for effective Project Management suitable standards and policies that will help to improve areas of expertise and the organization’s operations at large

Job Title: Head, Internal Audit

Location: Rivers

Job Description

The successful Candidate will:

  1. Be responsible for ensuring compliance with laws, regulations and company policies
  2. Lead investigative forensic and routine audits of high risk areas
  3. Be responsible for overall examination and evaluation of the adequacy, effectiveness and efficiency of the company’s internal control systems and procedures and recommend corrective actions
  4. Draft and execute the annual audit plans for the company
  5. Identify areas of potential risk and areas in order to improve operational efficiency
  6. Ensure continuous statutory & financial audit to put checks at all functional levels across the organization
  7. Assess the functionality of internal control systems and notify the management regarding the control weaknesses and inherent risks
  8. Maintain open communication with management and the audit committee
  9. Prepare Monthly audit reports on time with implications and recommendations for each control weakness
  10. Plan and strategize the Company’s Debt management and Control system in order to reduce exposure to potential bad debts
  11. Review and develop sound controls and practices on financial, administrative and operational activities of the organization
  12. Work with project teams, as appropriate, i.e. system development projects, to be sure the appropriate controls are designed into the system

Requirements

  1. 10 years relevant experience, at least 5 years management experience in audit (Internal or External) or related discipline is required
  2. Relevant certification such as (ICAN, CPA, CMA)
  3. Bachelor Degree in an appropriate discipline, i.e. Accounting, Finance or Economics
  4. MBA or Master’s Degree in Finance or other relevant fields
  5. Big 4 Accounting/Audit firm experience preferred
  6. Proficiency in MS Office Suite and outlook
  7. Proficiency in Sage ERP and other Finance/Management systems
  8. IT audit experience would be an added advantage.
