The Because College is Expensive Scholarship, also known as the Cedar Ed Scholarship, is a $500 annual and non-renewable scholarship sponsored by an education lending company known as Cedar with the core aim of helping and supporting college students who want to pursue their academic career but are afraid of incurring debts.


Further, Cedar Education Lending offers private funding options to students currently pursuing a degree and recent primary or post-secondary graduates to supplement the Federal Loan programs.
